Medway Practices Alliance (MPA) is a private limited company providing NHS services to the population in Medway and Swale.

MPA is a well-established company founded in 2014 and continues to manage contracts for the benefit of patients in these areas.

MPA currently operates 7 GP Practice sites across the region, delivering care to approximately 39,000 patients.

MPA operates a Home Visiting Service with a team of paramedics, on behalf of all Medway practices for approximately a 300,000-patient population.

From the 1st of October, 2022, Primary Care Networks (PCNs) were commissioned to provide the new Enhanced Access service for member practices

MPA is working with seven PCNs to provide additional evening and weekend GP appointments in various locations across Medway & Swale to offer patients a choice of day, time and location for a routine GP appointment Additional appointments across the region each week are available from MPA to support local practices to help meet the increasing patient demand.

MPA employs approximately 170 staff across all contracts and continues to expand its service to support Primary Care and the community.
